The story
Viking Cricket was started by former players, coaches and parents who were unhappy with the consistency of the bats they were buying. The site marks ten years of trading from 2016 to 2026, and the business runs a shop on Kirkgate in Silsden alongside its online store.
Willow grown in Suffolk is shaped in the company's workshop by a bat maker with more than thirty years' experience. Four bat models are offered in three grades, plus a limited edition in the top grade, and the Valkyrie range has been aimed at women cricketers for around eight years.
