The story

CA Sports was started in Sialkot in 1958 by Charaghdin. The name comes from the initials of Charaghdin and his son Abdulrasheed, who led the second generation, and the business is now run by the third generation, Waleed and Sumair. Its flagship bat brand is CA Pro.

The company makes its bats in its own Sialkot factory, where willow is stored, pressed and finished by hand. It says it introduced a curved bat shape in 1979, sponsored Javed Miandad in the 1980s and supplied Pakistan team kit in 2014. It now sells in more than 50 countries.
