The story
Infinity Cricket is a Reading-based company selling handmade bats alongside pads, gloves, bags and balls. Its site says it uses only English willow, across a range of grades, so that bats are available for players who do not need top-grade timber.
The bat-making page walks through a traditional process, from cleft selection and hand shaping with drawknives and spokeshaves to sanding and polishing. Buyers can choose handle shape, thickness and length, and toe shape. The brand's ambassadors include Pakistan internationals Salman Ali Agha and Saud Shakeel.
Where they're made Described on the site as handmade in the UK; workshop location not stated.
Willow English willow (Salix alba caerulea); growing source not stated.
