The story
SM Cricket is an Indian manufacturer that the UK site describes as established for decades. In Britain the brand is handled by SM Cricket UK, a distributor that previously traded as Cricket Deal Direct and runs a showroom and offices in Market Deeping, near Peterborough.
The UK business sells a broad range of bats, pads, gloves and teamwear online and through a regional sales team, with clubs a key focus. It also arranges bespoke bats priced by willow grade, offers basic repairs, and has worked with Heather Knight on a women's equipment range.
Where they're made India, per the UK site; bespoke bats are made at a partner workshop and sent direct to the buyer.
