The story
Optimax appears to be the house brand of Owzat Cricket, a cricket specialist in Alfreton, Derbyshire, that has traded online for more than 25 years. In October 2025 Owzat opened a centre there with indoor nets and a showroom. Optimax has no website of its own, and its bats and kit are sold only through Owzat.
The bat range is small: five English willow models across grades 1 to 4, from the Pink 2026 and Pyro Edition up to the Black 2026 and a limited edition White. Bats come unknocked, with a short handle, in light or medium weight bands, and Owzat staff choose each bat. The brand also makes bags, wicketkeeping gear and balls.
